Flying termites signal the start of termite season - 16 October 2025

Flying termites are being observed in Melbourne's eastern suburbs today. We are receiving reports of flying termites from Lilydale, Croydon, Ringwood, Warrandyte, Healesville, Eltham and surrounding suburbs, with flights recorded on 15 and 16 October. Flying termites are a sign of a termite infestation or that a termite nest is nearby.
